Today is the Day – Kursk Root Icon in Stillwater OK

The day has arrived!

We want anyone and everyone in Stillwater to be able to take advantage of this rare and unique opportunity to honor the Mother of God and to be blessed by her.

You do Not have to stay for the entire event.  

Come and go as you are able.

If you can come at 5:30 or 6 and only for just 10 minutes to make your veneration and then leave, that is perfectly fine, just come.

 
This is a miracle working icon.  If you or someone in your family is in need of healing of any kind, please come and seek the intercessions of the most gracious Queen of Heaven.

Here again is the schedule for today’s visitation of the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God.

5:30 pm –
The holy icon arrives and  will be available for public viewing at the 

(just one block East of Granny’s Kitchen) 
6:30 pm –
Father Deacon Aaron Taylor will present a brief, but lively and interesting talk concerning the history of Christian iconography from 6:30 pm – 7 pm

7:00 pm –
An Orthodox Christian Moleben (prayer service) will be conducted.  This service lasts about 40 Minutes.  Any and all are welcome.
